Your wedding day will be one of the most magical days of your life and being able to trust that your wedding videographer will capture each precious moment is essential. Here you can read through some of my most frequently asked questions so that you can better see how things will work before, during and after your big day. How far in advance do we need to book our wedding videographer?
The time required to book your wedding videographer before your wedding day will vary depending on who you choose to go with. In general, the sooner you can book your wedding videographer, the better. I am often booked up a year in advance, but it is always worth getting in touch if your wedding date is sooner than that, just in case I have an opening.
When do we pay for your wedding videography services?
When you choose The Wedding Video Guys with your wedding videography, I ask that you pay a £740 deposit to secure my services for your wedding. The final balance should be paid 3 weeks before the wedding day.
Do you do wedding photography as well as wedding videography in Hampshire?
The Wedding Video Guys stick to wedding videography. However, if you are looking for a wedding photographer in addition to my wedding videography services, I am more than happy to suggest some really gifted and experienced wedding photographers whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with previously.
Can you work alongside our wedding photographer?
Absolutely, more often than not I work alongside wedding photographers. In many years working as a wedding videographer, I have never had a problem working with a photographer. As professionals we can work together and around each other so that your day can run seamlessly, knowing that the all-important moments are being captured on film and in photos.
Can we choose the music for our wedding video?
Favourite songs and songs that are significant to you both are more than welcome in your wedding video if it is licensable. If you would rather I choose the music for your wedding video I am equally happy to do that, whatever you would prefer. Once I have a feel for the day, I will select a handful of suggestions for your to listen to and you will get the final say.
How will things work on our wedding day?
Nearer to your wedding day, I’ll get in touch and ask for a more detailed running order so that I can be in the right place, at the right time to document your day. On the day itself, I will be as inconspicuous as possible, allowing the day to unfold naturally. You can trust that I will capture what is needed for your wedding video, so you can enjoy your day knowing you’ll be able to relive it in beautiful HD quality.
When will we receive the completed wedding video?
Around 13 weeks after your wedding, you can expect to receive your wedding video. I take time to select and edit the best footage from the day and carefully weave it together to create a stunning story of your wedding. Once this process is finished, I will provide you with the wedding video which can be viewed online and shared with your family and friends.
Do you cover weddings outside of Hampshire?
I am more than happy to bring my wedding videographer services to wherever you are. If your wedding is further afield, I may ask that you cover the cost of travel.
